Tomorrow

I decided this needed some updating mainly because I just wrote on Facebook but there was no reply.

Shopaholic just text me to organise final details - I AM NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO SLEEP TONIGHT!!!!!! Good job that I've got lots of books to be reading lol. I'm reading The Art of Compassion (Written by lots of Christian Musicians), then Making History or America by Stephen Fry.

Anyway I am going to go to random things on the internet and find lots of random bits to blog about to make up for my lack of blog-age recently.

Love ya!

CJ went to help a youth leader called Jane at lunch time for a little while and he's still there, when he does get home he can't pack either because he's got essays to write - ARGH! I am so fed up lol.

I got your diary and I think you will like it :) I need to mail it to you when I have chance - it might be post move which means like 10 days away but thats not too bad is it? Either that or I'll bribe CJ to mail it for me.

Hola

So I feel like I haven't spoken to you in ages - however I spoke to you on Friday!

We have some better news about house stuff. We had a couple of viewings over the weekend and found one we liked but by the time CJ went for a viewing yesterday it had already been let :(

CJ and Mummie S went to look at some other ones but nothing was quite the same lol. CJ had a call from the current agents we are letting with and they said that they have a property in castle road area – we’d be next to the park on the same road as The Murf which is cool.

We have a viewing there tomorrow straight after work so hopefully if we like it, we can verbally put a deposit down and get the money to them Friday. So exciting!!! It wasn’t the end of the world after all!!!

How is your hand doing? Have you taken some time off now? I’d be stuffed if I broke my hand because typing and computer work is pretty much my job, then again I could just type one handed – it would mean that I’d only be able to do half as many orders as I do normally lol.

I’ve posted a couple more videos on YouTube if you get bored enough to watch them lol. I keep meaning to post some to Facebook as well.

My favourite videos on YouTube at the moment are on these channels

Twitter

Hey you!

Its cool to see you on Twitter - what made you decide to go on it? Did you see the other university peeps on there? I would list them but I think the one I know of has protected their updates.

Mr C is also on there but I got his tag wrong on the earlier tweet. His actual one is @mywaynow but by the looks of it you or him found the other lol.

Do you have a plan for this weekend? Let me know I'll see if i can abduct a double air bed from my Mum's so you and Dan The Man can share the living room floor if you are both here.

On my birthday weekend, we can organise a lego fest/computer game fest for the boys then CJ, Dan the Man and Mr LB can hang out together.

Who stole my fairy dust?

You sound so down and I don’t know what to do. I wish I could wave a magic wand and make it all better but I don’t really have anyway to be able to do that, I guess me going off on one earlier about yesterday at church with Lambkin, Mrs Mow Mow and Q didn’t help.
I don’t really know what to suggest. I guess in one way it would be to save up your pennies and move down here but then what about Dan the Man you can’t leave him behind and if you bring him with you, we’d need to find him a job.
The other option is for you to move down and then you have a long distance relationship but then that puts strain on it too – I know I’ve been there lol. I guess if you stay up there you almost need somewhere that you can meet other people. I know you’re not sure about going back to your old church but RP belongs to a network of churches called Ground Level – what if I see if we can find a Ground Level church in Mansfield? There might also be NFI (which is the group that Woodside belongs to). At least then you can find some other friends and you don’t feel so isolated. I’ve had a look and found two Ground Level churches, one is in Mansfield and the other is in Kirkby-in-Ashfield. NFI don’t have any churches in Mansfield – their nearest is Nottingham (and there they have two!). I’ve also had a look on the Evangelical Alliance’s website – they have one church in Mansfield on their website so that’s another one to look at if you want.
If you are here this weekend we are having a connect group meal on Sunday and an Easter egg hunt. That’s one less meal to try and organize. I’m sorting everyone out and coming up with a plan of what people need to bring. I’m going to make a pasta salad – so I need to go get the bits for that at some point – while I supervise CJ and make sure he writes his dissertation. (2 weeks today is the deadline. He’s got 6000 words to go as of this morning).

Anyhoo I have to get back to other stuff but I will be around on MSN till 5ish if you need me

Rainbow without colour.

Sorry for lack of bloggage. Dead laptop and snail slow pc so using mobile. Recently so much has been happening. Got new job, applied for yet another new job, visited various places including seaside and countryside. Met up with girlies etc.the past week i have done too much to upset people closest to me but have also felt quite hurt. I'm crying all the time and just not really explaining why! At work I've been made to feel useless at my job with a certain difficult child, also not being told important informatio. At home i feel like i am upsetting my parents by not talking to them much and heading up to bed early because I'm shattered. Relationship wise i feel like such a bad girlfriend. I've not been entirely fair to my man and obviously this has had a bit of a knock on effect. I need to start adding colour to this rainbow. Hopefully the break from work over Easter and the start of a new job after Will cheer me up and i can spend the time mending to wrongs that i think I've done. Anyway. There's my confession done. Night night people.x

I am so glad to hear from you. Feels like I haven’t heard from you in weeks! Me and Dan The Man had a chat about Shopaholic’s Birthday bash the other day. I’d actually texted him to see if he knew if you were okay (the wonders of Facebook). He said he didn’t know and then we ended up chatting about the party/outing.

I don’t think I will be staying over in MK as I’m on band on the Sunday and will have 24/7 in the evening I’ll need Saturday to catch up with stuff. Is there a plan to do anything on Saturday or are we just doing stuff on Friday? As much as I’m up for the fancy dress I’m less and less looking forward to it but I’m not really sure why.

Mr C had a low day yesterday and me and Chris were enlisted as emergency babysitters lol. We went to Dominos for a pizza and then went and had an impromptu picnic in the car as CJ needed to be in Bromham for 7pm but hadn’t really told me (I had to go back for him and sat in the car for 30 minutes! I was frozen! I think an emergency blanket might be a seriously good idea!)

There’s lots I need to tell you but because some of it is like a 007 mission I will email you it (don’t worry blog readers when it becomes know-able I will return with details!)

I’ve made a new friend, her nickname on my blog I think I’ve got her as Zoza (one of her nicknames from home I think), she’s a first year at uni which is cool (but she had two gap years so she’s not actually that much younger than me) She’s doing Education. We went to the cinema yesterday and saw He’s Just Not That Into You. It was such a cool film! I got rather excited at one point and it made Zoza laugh! I don’t think I’ve laughed that much in a while. The film was awesome! You’d love it!

I can just imagine you to upto the arm pits in mud wetting yourself with the giggles!

I need to go now but I will swing back later with more of a post, Me and Mum are going laptop shopping after work me thinks :D

I ditched the kewey mobile!

Ok, so... we had snow... a lot of snow!

On monday it snowed, we all went to work. On tuesday it snowed and on the way to work (it took like an hour to get from my house to the second lot of traffic lights near my house) we got "snowed off". On wednesday it was mega icy and i wasnt in work anyway. On thursday it was mega mega snowy and school got snowed off. On friday i went to work all day, discovered my grandma very poorly at her house and had to leave mummie kewey with her while i bicked up sister kewey from work. Had arranged with parentage to sort me and sister kewey out for tea while they sorted granny kewey out with dr and hospital etc. In the rush home i went into auto pilot and went down a road very near my house which had been shut for road works. There were cars coming up so i thought it was open... WRONG! i went down and saw a van and a car cutting across the grass. sister kewey said "follow them" so i did (1st and last time i listen to her!) hehe. The car in front got stuck which made me stop... then i got stuck because i stopped. I tried a little bit to get out but it wasnt budging... the snow had made all the soil go v v soft and therefore just got my car stuck in. I made sister kewey get out to push me back... it wouldnt budge. I went over to the car driver and said if he could help me out, me and my sister would help him out... he was more than happy to help. Then the van driver came over and offered a hand... we said the same to him. My car came out ok. The other car came out with a bit of a struggle but the real fun came with the van! It was well and truely stuck in... above the wheel nuts! It was like something from a cartoon. I fell in the mud, sister kewey fell in the mud and then got covered by the mud when the wheels spun and it was jsut not shifting. In the end one of the van drivers collegues came in his van to pull him out... that worked! we all got out safe and well and lessons learned! I told mummie and daddie kewey and we all had a real giggle about the episode. I cleaned the car today! it was caked in mud!

Grannie kewey is ok, they have kept her in hospital to do checks to find out exactly what made her poorly and fall. she has a water infection but they think there maybe something else that has caused this little episode.

Anyway. i am getting arm ache from the way i am layin down now. Toodles noodles for now.

Kewey out.x

In between the title and the line "My friends think I am special because..." was her picture but I decided unless I get my friend's permission I would cut out the picture.

Princess Nat is cool as I said about a few weeks ago when she went to look for me after church (I was tired and slept through the whole service lol!)

OOOOhhhhhhhh!

This is a mega quick reply as I am in the process of writing up all the info I got about mobiles yesterday when I was in MK (My Dad is watching a film called Cromwell and I keep getting sidetracked!)

I'm hoping to go see Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist when it comes out in like two weeks! So exciting I've only been waiting for it to come out since like last September lol

P.s. Loved the seriously long phone conversation the other night! Miss you buckets!!!! Don't worry about Shopaholic's birthday - You haven't put your foot in it at all!

a short update.

oh poo poo poo i've put my foot in about shopoholics do.... oops...... it's not official yet. she was asking me about dates and themes. poo stinks i've messed up! there should be a group on a site you know well after thursday because it's one of her friends birthdays this week and she didnt want to put anything up until that event is over with... i would have thought she would have mentioned it to you already as she had mentioned it to me. I think she's thinking to invite a lot of uni people but i will say no more on the matter until it's official.

I have had a nightmare of a week really. I've been very tired and just getting into the swing of work etc. Went for a nice walk on saturday though... was well needed. I stayed away from home on sunday night for a reason i would rather not discuss here. It meant having to come back home yesterday at 5.30am! i then went to work and didnt sleep well last night. I have a headache today but i think it's due to a mixure of things. I wasnt booked to work anywhere today which is a blessing becuase i can get some sort of order here. We've had a lot of other stuff to deal with of late.

Unless i get a call i am not working tomorrow either but have got a very busy stretch coming up so i want to get my washing and ironing done so that i dont have to do anything during the busier weeks.

big hugs.

LB's do and other events

I can't come to LB's housewarming :( We've got a Youth/Children's workers retreat day from like 10 til 4:30 and then from 8 til 9am the following morning it's a Youth group social.

I would come in the gap but I don't think it's the worth the petrol - I would get there at like 5:30/6ish and would need to leave at 7 if not slightly before.

If Shopaholic is who i think it is then I haven't been invited - or at least I haven't been invited yet.

I have to pretend to work now but I will be back later :)

I've not quite vamooshed

Hiya :)

Ok, so i did a bit of a vanishing act over the crimbo/new year break. sorry for that but i was probably not the best company. I didnt spend much time at home over the festive period due to one thing and another. Had a lot of lovely gifts for crimbo which cheered me up but like all material things the cheer was short lived! I spent new year driving around because i didnt want to be where i was planning to be and was in bed by 5 to 12. Not a very happy new year.

I'm looking forward though.... i have got some christmas pressies to give out soon! i'm going to LB's house warming/everything else party on the 24th of this month. Then fancy my chances dressing up as a ballerina or rock star for shopaholics birthday do. both of which seem to be residential which will be cool. Wish i could go back to the shire more regularly but what with working in the week and not really being able to afford such trips often makes it a little difficult to make regular visits.

Righty o. I'm tootling off now. Big hugs.xxx

5th January

So it's the first day back to work.

Have you had snow? We had about a quarter of an inch and I ended up walking to work in it! The car hasn't been very well and the battery has given up the ghost :(

Suzy's Dad works in a garage so he's going to organise getting us a new one which is awesome!

How are you doing?
